Since its inception in 2004, this annual conference has provided a strategic forum for international tertiary education leaders to share knowledge and build a global network to shape the future of further and higher education across the world.
The theme of this year’s conference is: Building Sustainable and Relevant Tertiary Education Institutions and Systems in Africa.
The Going Global Africa conference will provide a discursive and collaborative platform that will foster cross sector engagement and learning about shared regional and global challenges in tertiary education. By strengthening institutional and individual capacity, it is our hope that participants will be better positioned for international opportunities, ultimately contributing to improved future
outcomes for young Africans.

The application deadline for submitting the Expression of Interest is 13 September 2024 at the very latest. Should you subsequently be invited to attend, British Council representatives will contact you around 27 September 2024 for formal registration.
