GRIC ANNUAL FORUM
The Ghana Research and Industry Collaborative (GRIC) Annual Forum is a flagship event that brings together stakeholders from academia/research, industry, government, and international partners to foster collaboration and drive sustainable innovation.
This year’s theme, Strengthening Research-Industry Collaboration for Sustainable Innovation and Development, reflects the need for a strategic approach to bridging the gap between research and industry.
Building on the success of the inaugural forum in 2023 and ongoing ecosystem-level initiatives, this forum will provide a platform for dialogue, knowledge sharing, and development of actionable solutions to strengthen Ghana’s research, innovation, and technology ecosystem. Through plenary sessions, keynote addresses, and engaging presentations, participants will gain insights into best practices for research commercialisation, technology transfer, and policy alignment, all geared towards achieving sustainable economic growth.
Conference on Mathematics and its Applications – 2024
The Centre is excited to organize this conference within the framework of the German Research Chair program at AIMS Ghana, under the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the German Ministry of Education and Research and the DAAD Foundation. This conference will provide an avenue for researchers in the Mathematical Science field to share their work, connect and network with others in their various disciplines. The event more particularly seeks to increase the cooperation between students and researchers in Mathematics and its Applications on one hand, and various institutions and research centers on the other hand.
Objectives – The conference objectives are to:
* Provide the platform for researchers in Mathematical Sciences and its Applications to share and present their research.
* Introduce students to concepts in mathematical modeling and applications that are not normally taught in their universities/institutions.
* Introduce to young researchers the various researchable questions in Mathematics and its Applications while encouraging them to pursue research.
* Provide the platform for researchers to collaborate/ work in teams to solve developmental problems across the world.

Following the resounding success of the inaugural summit last year, we’re excited to announce the return of this premier event in 2024. With the theme Actions to Deepen Catalytic Capital in West Africa, the 2nd West Africa Deal Summit and 7th Annual Convening on Impact Investing are set to galvanise stakeholders, foster collaborative efforts, and mobilise action to accelerate the deployment of catalytic capital for positive social and environmental change.
The West Africa Deal Summit is a pivotal gathering of impact investment stakeholders that aims to drive actions that deepen catalytic capital in West Africa, creating an enabling environment for impactful investments that drive positive social and environmental change.
